About Ashley

Ashley L. Case focuses her practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate and Business Formation. Ms. Case works closely with her estate planning clients to identify their planning needs and to ensure that their assets are protected and distributed in accordance with their desires. For clients wishing to start their own business, she assists in choosing the correct business form, drafts and files the necessary documents to open the business, and carefully explains the legal formalities surrounding the newly existing entity.

Ms. Case received her Bachelor's of Science in Marketing from Arizona State University with a minor in Mass Communication. She earned her Juris Doctor from Chapman University School of Law in Orange, California where she was founder and editor-in-chief of The Chapman Law Courier, the law school newspaper. During law school, Ms. Case worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Donald Kochan, she was a member of the Ferguson Inn of Court and the Career Services and Professional Development Advisory Board, and she received honor grades in both Community Property and Law and American Culture.

Ms. Case worked as a law clerk for three different estate planning sole practitioners prior to, and during, law school. She also worked for Bank of America in the Estate Settlement department where she inventoried estate assets for the purpose of valuation, taxation and distribution, and reviewed and interpreted the language of trust and estate documents to determine proper distribution and to verify the bank’s status and powers as trustee.

Following law school, Ms. Case worked in Washington, D.C. as a legal research trainer where she trained judges, attorneys and paralegals at numerous federal government agencies including the Pentagon, the Executive Office of the President, the Senate, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, and the United States Army and Air Force.

Ms. Case is licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona. She is a member of the Arizona State Bar Association, Arizona Women Lawyers Association, and the Maricopa County Bar Association.
